An Update About Our Walmart Marketplace Store

To everyone who was hoping to purchase our products through Walmart Marketplace, we’re sorry that option will not be available as planned.
While preparing our Walmart store, we attempted to list an unbranded product that did not have a UPC or GTIN. We submitted requests through Walmart’s product-ID exemption process and identified the item as “Generic,” based on our understanding of the product and its supplier information.
Walmart rejected that classification more than once, indicating that the product should not be considered generic. Our Marketplace account was later terminated under Walmart’s Trust & Safety process, and our account and listings were deactivated.
Walmart did not provide us with a specific explanation connecting the termination to those exemption requests, so we cannot say with certainty that the product-classification disagreement caused the decision. We also do not want to speculate or make accusations without evidence.
This happened while we were still establishing our Walmart presence, before it became a dependable place for customers to shop with us. Nevertheless, we know some customers were looking forward to having that option, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment and confusion.
We have decided not to attempt a workaround or open another Walmart account. Instead, we are using this experience to strengthen how we verify products, document supplier relationships, handle product identifiers, and create original listing content before introducing an item to any marketplace.
For the foreseeable future, our products will not be offered through Walmart Marketplace. We are focusing our efforts on carefully prepared product launches through other approved sales channels, beginning with our Amazon marketplace work as individual products become ready.
